Our Beefalo are raised on 100% perennial grasses and moved daily with single electric wire. They are descended from the original very rare genetics of Beefalo back in the 1960’s. We have been raising them for 40 years.

Beefalo are known for calving ease with average birth weights of 50 – 75 lbs.

The calves are vigorous with most up and nursing within 15 minutes of birth.

They are fast growing on forage only.

Most have docile dispositions.

Beefalo is flavorful and the meat is more nutrient dense than regular beef per a USDA analysis.

“Mylo” is a Beefalo bull (scurred) born in 2013 and is the sire of “Sedwick”. He is 41% bison. Mylo is not for sale.
