buffalo for 2010 is priced at $2.75 per lb. HW. We are sold out for 2010.
Beefalo (Steak animal) We will have 4 beefalo available
for late summer and fall 2010. The price is $2.25/lb. hanging weight. A $75 deposit is required for each quarter
ordered.

We did a survey and compared our price for a quarter of beefalo (steak animal) against regular beef found in the grocery
store and by buying a quarter of our beefalo, you save $172.55! AND, you get clean, lean, healthy meat
that is antibiotic-free, growth hormone-free, pasture raised locally. Our meat is an incredible bargain in more than
one way!
Beefalo (Burger
animal) We are sold out for 2010 at a price of $2.00/lb. hanging weight.
Red Wattle Pigs Our next pigs will be available to butcher in December 2010
- March 2011 at a price of $1.50/lb. hanging weight. A $75 deposit is required for each half ordered. Order
early as they sell our fast!
Free-range Chickens We
can still take a few orders for our roasting chickens at $2.90/lb. finished weight. (Avg. weight 4.5
lbs.) These chickens will be available through the farm store from August - October a few at a time. Please
print out the order form and mail with your deposit of $3.00 per chicken.
Heritage breed Turkeys We have 2 turkeys
left that will be ready for November at $2.90/lb. finished weight. (Avg. weight 10 lbs.) . Place your order soon.
A $5.00 deposit is required for each bird. Please print out the order form and mail with deposit. (No processing
fee charged.)
Roasting Ducks We have about 20 ducks that will be ready in November-December at $4.95/lb.

Processing fees (paid to butcher) are currently approximately $0.55 - $0.68 per lb.

apply for having sausage or jerky made.)
Approximate hanging weights are:
Buffalo quarter – 110-130 lbs.
Beefalo
(steak animal) quarter – 130 - 150 lbs.
Beefalo
(burger animal) quarter -- 150 - 230 lbs.
Pig half – 80 - 90 lbs.
Please note: Hanging weights vary depending on
the age, sex and natural variability of each animal.
Please note that the finished weight (that which you bring home)
is approximately 50 – 65% of the hanging weight depending on how you have your meat processed.
Things like stew meat and jerky will greatly decrease the amount of finished weight you will receive from the
animal.
